Add/Edit/Delete Invitations

C4 Modules > C4 Invitations
This page is to help you add/edit/delete your Print and Email invitations in your C4 Invitations Module. See C4 Environment to navigate your way around the C4 Invitations Module. 
This will all be under your [Invitations] tab in C4.
Edit 
Click on the name of an existing invitation or the  icon. 
Add 
Click on "Add New Invitation, or  to add a blank new invitation
Copy 
Click on  icon, to copy an existing invitation and copy all of its contents
Delete  Click on  icon, to delete an existing invitation

In order to use Print invitations with this module, you will need to set it up with PDF form fields, using Adobe Acrobat. If you do not have a program to do this, you can have us create your Print invites for you at the current hourly design rate. Please contact us for more information. 

Email Invitations can use Mail-Merge Tokens.

When Adding, Editing, or Copying an Invitation, fill out the following form to create or edit an invitation:

The Name, Enabled, and Type are required:
Type in the Name of the invitation:
Name:
Select Yes to Enabled or No to Disable
Enabled:    
Select the type of invitation: Email or Print
Type:    

Then, upload the Thumbnail and Preview images:

Upload a small image (around 150x150)
This image displays if there are more than 2 types of invitations available.  
 
Upload a larger image (around 600x600)
This image displays when clicking on the thumbnail image.
 


 For Email Invitations
Create the Email invitation by using a template and mail-merge tokens for the Subject and Content. 

Type in the subject line to be emailed with your email invitations

Required for email invitations; Merge tokens allowed.
Use the WYSIWYG editor to add images, hyperlinks, embed YouTube Videos, tables, and more. Also use "Source" to edit the HTML code.

 For Print Invitations, upload the PDF document: 

Upload your PDF form field document for your invitiation. Your PDF invitation must have PDF Form Fields, if you do not know how to do these, our services are available.
 



Click "save" when you are done, or "cancel" to cancel the edit or addition.

Mail Merge Tokens

Email and Print Invitations can use mail merge tokens. Just copy and paste the mail merge token into your email template and these tokens will be replaced by the information inputted by your users. 


$${PartyForName}

The text entered as the name of the person the party is for.

$${PartyDate}

The date of the party, formatted like "Tuesday, April 1, 2010".

$${PartyTime}

The time of the party, formatted like "2:20 PM".

$${ReplyPleaseTo}

The text entered in the RSVP to block; this can be a name, phone number or email address.

$${ReplyPleaseBy}

The date guests are expected to RSVP by; formatted like "04/01/2010".

$${CustomMessage}

The custom message provided by the user, if any.

$${PhoneNumber}

The phone number provided by the user, if any.

$${EmailFrom}

The email address the invitation is sent from; email invitations only.

$${EmailTo}

An individual email address the invitation is sent to; email invitations only.

$${ParkName}

The park name as defined in the reservation system settings.

$${ParkAddress}

The park address as defined in the reservation system settings.

$${ThisYear}

The current year (useful for dynamic copyright statements).

$${CurrentDate}

The date the invitation was generated, formatted like "04/01/2010".

$${CurrentLongDate}

The date the invitation was generated, formatted like "April 1, 2010".
